We are pleased to invite you to the International Congress on Tropical Veterinary Medicine that will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on September 23rd to 28th, 2018.
This Congress will bring together members of two societies –AITVM and STVM– as well as other scientists and scholars, focused on the challenges associated with animal health, breeding and production in tropical and subtropical regions of the globe.
Our theme: “Animal Health in the Tropics: Building the puzzle from research to application” reflects the importance of concerted multidisciplinary approaches to reach effective and sustainable solutions to old and new problems at hand.
The Congress will serve this purpose by allowing a fruitful exchange of ideas among researchers from all over the world.
Buenos Aires will welcome you with all its Southern splendor, warm hospitality, excellent meat and wine, and enchanting tango music.

Dear participants of the second joined STVM/AITVM meeting,
Very soon we will be meeting at the second joined STVM/AITVM meeting in Buenos Aires!
As the Society of Tropical Veterinary Medicine, we wish to extend a warm word of welcome to all our new members. For those that have
not yet joined the STVM we have decided to offer a 50% discount to registered participants of the conference. As a society, we have an obligation to disseminate research and aid young scientist to further their career portfolios.
We sincerely hope that this will allow more participants the opportunity to submit their contribution for consideration in the conference proceedings (Transboundary and Emerging Diseases, Impact factor 3.504; Online ISSN:1865-1682), free of charge, subject to peer review.
As such, the fees will be U$20 for professional membership from an FAO designated LIFDC countries, U$10 for registered students and professional membership for U$40.
